Visitor Parking

To park in "Visitor" designated spaces, all visitors are required to register their vehicles for a visitor pass.

Visitor passes are [typically] valid for one day.

Parking space assignments are enforced during business hours, unless otherwise marked
(e.g. Spaces marked "24-Hour F/S" are reserved for faculty and staff at all times.)

To park in an ADA designated space, vehicles should have a state-issued Disability Parking permit.

Visitor passes do not permit parking in any other areas not designated for visitors, including: reserved, restricted, bus-only, no parking, red-lined spaces, or fire lanes.

To register for a visitor pass, visitors must provide:

  • Vehicle Make (aka, Manufacturer)
  • Vehicle Model
  • License Plate Number, and
  • License Plate State

Where to Register for a Visitor Pass

  • Parking Services Office: During regular business hours on any campus (typically: Monday through Thursday 8:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. and Friday 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.) 
  • Online: Using the .
  • Retired Faculty/Staff: Visit the Parking Service Office.
  • Request by University Employees: Departments requesting visitor, vendor, or volunteer parking permits for large groups should contact Parking Services via e-mail at parking.services@ung.edu or by telephone at 706-864-1697. Requests should be made at least two business days in advance, whenever possible.
  • Contractors and Vendors: Companies and individuals should coordinate directly with the ÎçÒ¹¿ì²¥ department they are visiting so they can request visitor permits on your behalf.
