The Bachelor of Science with a major in secondary education and biology concentration is similar to an undergraduate Biology degree but without the organic chemistry requirement and with the addition of 36 hours of required courses for teacher certification.
In addition to our undergraduate program, there are alternate routes to biology secondary education certification at the University of North Georgia (ÎçÒ¹¿ì²¥). (The MAT certification with a concentration in Secondary Education – Biology is not available at ÎçÒ¹¿ì²¥).
