Hamilton, director of liaison and military operations with the Institute for Leadership and Strategic Studies at the University of North Georgia (ÎçÒ¹¿ì²¥), was part of a five-person panel sharing information on the topic of "Military Service Hearing: Creating New Pipelines to Service and Fostering Critical Skills."

"It was an honor to be asked to testify before the commission, to represent ÎçÒ¹¿ì²¥, and to share the cyber and foreign language initiatives of the six senior military colleges," Hamilton said.

Part of her testimony detailed ÎçÒ¹¿ì²¥'s efforts to spark high school and college students' interest and motivation to not only attend and succeed in college but to also pursue an education path that supports the Department of Defense (DOD) and national interests.

"ÎçÒ¹¿ì²¥ provides interesting, challenging, and rewarding programs to students who may not have considered college, foreign language or cybersecurity as options," she said in her testimony. "At ÎçÒ¹¿ì²¥, we take innovative and interdisciplinary approaches to encourage the study of critical languages and cybersecurity to pique student interest in DOD careers."
